About
Nikhil is FCAT’s Head of Data Science, where he leads an accomplished team of scientists, engineers and thought leaders. His specialty is in large-scale machine learning, parallel/GPU computing, Bayesian methods, Speech/NLP problems and Real-Time Data products. His passion lies in integrating Data Science and Business Strategy, particularly in the new product/new revenue space.
Nikhil joined FCAT from PI where he spearheaded their Real-Time AI Model-based decisioning system. He previously worked at Capital One where he led an R&D function within their Credit Risk Management unit. He also served as an accredited Model Risk Officer and worked on several HPC/Parallel computing efforts as well as Speech/NLP programs. Nikhil has an ABD/MS in Computational Fluid Dynamics (Aerospace) from Iowa State and earned his BS at the Indian Institute of Technology.
